Anyone at 135 fighting De Los Santos is NOT going to look impressive. Neither Tank nor Haney will beat De Los Santos easy. If anything, Haney will get beat up by him.
Shakur is 27 years old and has won titles at three weight classes, are you relegating him to a “hype job”?

Shakur gets tons of flak on these pages for that and other perceived deficiencies.

Just saying that this seems to be the overwhelming consensus, and not without merit.

Not every boxer has the same punching qualities and Shakur is making the best of what qualities he does posses.. He's still relatively young and I'm HOPING his next two fights bring out the best in him and he is able to display the caliber that many including his new promoter believe he possesses.
Just imagine what a terrific fight Shakur-Zepeda can produce if Shakur steps up his offense a bit. I'm hoping Shakur turns it around and wants to prove his doubters wrong. If he does, the demand for him to fight Tank and Loma will only increase...

I too would like to see him be more aggressive, but the guy might have brittle hands for all we know. Mayweather had hand issues early on and was close to retiring but his cut and hand man Rafael Garcia saved his career.
