Boring fight to watch but if your scoring it based on clean punches landed in the fight then foster won by a mile but I do agree hopefully the lost last time makes him realise he's gotta be busier himself so he doesn't get screwed over on the cards again
Clean punches, Ring generalship, defense, and effective aggression are the scoring criteria. Since he was, in addition to outlanding Conceicao, making him miss, he certainly wins on defense as well. Ring generalship could go either way. I thought Foster was dictating the fight, but judges often go towards the guy who's pressing the fight, rather than the one controlling on the back foot. Effective aggression, well, there wasn't any of that in the fight on either side. If it were anyone but Conceicao, who's gotten robbed himself before (twice, IMO), I'd have been more annoyed, but a rematch is merited, and hopefully both guys have learned from it and one can really make a statement.
