HaHa. Massey saying Opetaia fades in the later rounds. Opetaia's two 12 round battles with Bredis makes Massey's 12 round bout with Chamberland look like two novices having a go in their backyard. Let's see if Massey can make it through the first six-eight rounds before looking towards winning the championship rounds. Opetaia dominated Bredis in the 2nd bout for the first nine and a half rounds before a headbutt broke his nose making it hard to get the oxygen in.

Opetaia is quietly preparing, not much coming from his side of things as he prefers to let ability do the talking once in the ring. Massey is in for a painfully rude shock in October.

This is matchmaking to keep all the involved promoters happy. BOXXER represents Massey. Eubank's (also BOXXER-promoted) match-up is arguably worse.

Ouch. Jack's progressed well and exceeded my expectations but Jai will take him apart, much as I gotta be rooting for the local lad.

Massey gave a passive Parker some good rounds but Jai ain't gonna be playing with his food.

Jai will catch him, clip him and drop him.

Idk I think Massey might have drew with Riakporhe and did ok against Parker but this is still underwhelming matchmaking.

That Riakporhe fight was pretty close, I think Massey was down late if I recall correctly. Other than the two losses and Isa Chamberlain, Jack hasn't really faced anyone who was realistically coming to win. He has some basic skills and is a tough guy, not sure that's enough.
