Narvaez had previously been WBO champion at 112 and made 16 successful defenses before moving up. His only previous loss was a unified title challenge, by decision, at 118 against a prime Nonito Donaire.

Stephen Fulton Jr. was the consensus #1 fighter at 122 and a reigning unified champion and Inoue stopped him in 8.

Show me a list of other fighters with 3 wins against the TBRB/Ring #1 ranked guys in 3 different divisions to take belts.

And after you find that list, remember that Inoue also has wins over Nonito Donaire (twice), Ryoichi Taguchi, Kohei Kono, Emmanuel Rodriguez, TJ Doheny, Paul Butler, Jason Moloney, Luis Nery, Marlon Tapales, Jamie McDonnell, and Juan Carlos Payano.
    You owned that fool.

Speaking of power punchers, one of my favorite power punchers of all time (worth watching the videos) broke guys bones was Jose Pipino Cuevas. He broke turnbuckles, jaws, eye sockets, ribs. Not as many short punches but his half-uppercut / half hook was brutal. He was opposite of the more boxing-conscious modern guys like Barrera, Sal Sanchez (not modern but ahead of his time), and recent fighters. Cuevas was the true left hook slugger. His prime was cut short because he turned pro at 14 and became a champ at 18, the youngest at 147.

Inoue looked excellent, one of his most disciplined performances.

Inoue is the only active fighter to defeat 4 No.1 ranked fighters by The RING MAGZlNE in 4 different weight classes. 23 title fights won, 16 champions beaten, only boxer in history to beat all 4 sanctioning bodies champions by KO. He holds the highest KO rate in the history of world title fights. Becoming 2 divison undisputed champion in single calender year, while also being a 4 divison champion with 0 vacate title fights. And all the champions were beaten at the weight the were champ at with no rehydration clause or catchweight BULLSHlT. All of this accomplished in only 28 fights. While also entertaining the crowd and taking risk. I just don't understand why people hate him. Maybe because he is asian so they hate him.

I have learned long time ago not to believe something to be true just because it is on internet or just because someone wrote it down in a book or a newspaper. People lie all the time to suit their own self interest.

Pipino broke three jaws, I believe ~ Harold Weston, Billy Backus and Angel Espada. That left hook was murderous. Sanchez and Barrera were really boxer-punchers, not pure boxers.

I am not saying that Inoue is lying, but I am sure he is not directly negotiating fights himself. You could also ask a question - why would Sam Goodman travel to Japan at his own expense, jump into the ring to challenge the champion and then do nothing about it when the offer is presented, which I assume would be his highest payday by a big margin? I don't really know what the truth is and I suspect neither do you.

Anyway, it looks like that fight might be up next. https://www.foxsports.com.au/boxing/...273c0cc83aab16

Absolutely a wrecking ball of a human. Then the great Hearns came along. I compare Cuevas to thunder and Hearns to lightning.

At first I was slightly worried that Goodman's hand injury would make December iffy or if he was even willing to actually fight, but I guess foregoing undercard with Tszyu means he is actually serious about fighting December and is willing to travel to Japan for it so that is a start.

MJ should get a stay busy against a tomato can around October/November in preparation for next April, he hasn't fought yet in 2024.
