Unless Floyd comes out and blasts Sch for saying a ****** comment like that, then Floyd's team has considered Alvarez.
The fact that you call yourself P4P 1 and consider a prospect just because of money and not go for legacy when you already money and fight Cotto, Mosley, Williams of course he's going to get flamed.
They just didnt say ooo Alvarez vs Floyd for the hell of it, theres legit claim behind it.
Ever think that GBP is thinking of signing Alvarez and want to get him name in the mix of known fighters for his upcoming bouts?
I just don't know with two non American fighters. Whether people like it or not, Floyd attracts the American audience in a way Pac and Cotto do not simply because he was born in the U.S.

I respect you (and your avatar). But Pac and Cotto have been fighting almost exclusively in the US. much like Trinidad, Lewis and Hatton.
Neither has been out of the American fight limelight. It's not like Pac is Chris John.
When you hear Richard talk about 600K buys for Pac-Cotto, he isn't far off.

Given the animosity between Arum and Floyd it's more likely that the only this ever gets done is through middleman Rich Schaefer.
