That’s Richard Hall, in the most entertaining RJJ fight in his career

Violence, showmanship, athleticism and world class toughness and heart

      My favorite RJJ fight

And yeah the first time I noticed that the last replied thread didn’t rise to the top I thought I was just tripping

This new way is for some reason very disturbing

a poll is needed to show to the new 'owners' the error of their ways, i think the new 'owners' may be drunk at the wheel

Thanks man…I like the way he doesn’t get intimidated by Roy’s pre fight antics and stands his ground. Will check out that fight tomorrow!

I wish we could interject a prime Captain Hook in todays mix up!

Just watched the highlights...it was everything you said and more. Despite a sizeable height and reach advantage and awkward, gangly style, Richard Hall was completely outclassed by Roy's superior athleticism and boxing skills. Still, he did well to last 11 rounds despite being knocked down twice in the first and definitely displayed world class toughness and heart. Very entertaining fight!

Canadian Indian boxer Eric Basran (25yo, 6-0) is a 5'10 Lightweight who idolises Roy Jones Jr and tries to emulate his showmanship and movements in his fighting style. Whilst I'm NOT saying he's in the same league as Roy, he's very athletic and definitely has the potential to go far if managed correctly. In fact, I wish Roy was training HIM instead of Mandeep Jangra who's a 'grade C' domestic level fighter at best.
