Been ducking Morrell for years now. Jesse Hart is not only horrible but he’s 35 years old. Benavidez last 12 opponents have been in their 30s and 9 out of 12 have been at least 35. Berlanga is not the best, I under , but he is an undefeated young lion that’s way bigger than Canelo. That alone presents a bigger risk that Benavidez has ever taken, and Canelo is at the END of his career. Benavidez is in his prime fighting nothing but past prime b and c level fighters outside of Plant. When Canelo KO’d Plant, he was a weak champion but when Benavidez beat him by UD it was a “great win” lol

I hate seeing u all criticize Canelo while ignoring Benavidez level of competition. This is his second fight against someone his size and look at who he chooses. The double standard on this site is crazy.

Morrell is an up-and-comer with 11 fights. Benavidez is a two-time champion, who was trying to get an opportunity to win his title back from "The face of boxing". Morrell is high-risk, low reward for Benavidez. Berlanga is low-risk, high-reward for Canelo. Benny's move up to LHW is definitely riskier than what Alvarez is doing. Benny wants the winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev. Canelo is tossing around the idea of fighting SWW Crawford @ SMW.

Morrell would knock Hart out, its another case of high risk low reward for DB to fight Morrell, same deal with Ennis and TC, is what it is with the moral of story being they all avoid certain fights for lots of reasons with the least being they are scared of the guy, they are managed pro fighters this happens all the time.

I'm sorry, berlanga is not a lion and every guy he has faced, benavidez would knock him out. Ask ginger why he's not fighting him, not everybody wants to get an a$$ kicking, probably Hart is the only guy, not named Morrell Jr, that wants to fight him. The ginger still a fraud.

Who really give a F about your opinion brother? You're a nobody. Just like Morrell. Fight was offered a year ago and Morrell said his trainer don't want to rush him. Then after taking one practice fight, he took another one. What a huge joke. You don't turn down something you begged and asked for and want it on your own time.
