Comments Thread For: Diego Pacheco fighting for late brother's legacy, and the chance to create his own

Diego Pacheco is just 23 years old, yet he's already alluding that his evolution from prospect to world contender is complete. Pacheco (21-0, 17 KOs) will get another crack at proving why he says he's special when he takes on Maciej Sulecki (32-2, 12 KOs) at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California on Saturday. The super middleweight fight scheduled for 12 rounds will headline a Matchroom Boxing card on DAZN.

Canelo should put out a list of unacceptable behaviors that make an opponent unworthy since he seems to me exceedingly sensitive these days. Who knew ? He's worse than Queen Elizabeth.

Diego definitely is talented but he looked very green last time out . A genuine top 5 in the division ? Not yet.

Got to be honest I'm not convinced. He fights flat-footed which takes away some off the advantages his height should give him &, as Bread says, he fights tall not long which also takes away the advantages. Despite being flat-footed he doesn't seem to have terrifying power. I mean, I definitely wouldn't want him to hit me, but by world class 168 standards he doesn't seem to have scary power. I'm also not sure he knows where his hands should be. He starts with almost a European 'ear muffs' stance which, I guess, he was taught early on but then the hands drift lower during the course of the fight. I'm not saying either is necessarily correct but a fighter needs to be comfortable with where his hands are. I mean that is the most crucial thing for a boxer.
