Fact's! Plant isn't overrated, he's fought the bast available opposition coming up the rank's, and when he was a champion.
He also comes off as a down to earth, no nonsense individual, who takes his career, and personal life seriously.
You've got to respect somebody like that, because he's going about life the right way, good for him plain, and simple.

Well Caleb would need at least 2-3 solid wins vs another top contenders not named McCumby.

If you put your hands on somebody (Charlo pulled on Plant's beard), you can expect to get hands put on you, and that's what happened here.
Charlo was/is so demented that he thought that he could get away with such a blatantly disrespectful act against another man, Plant taught/showed him otherwise.

I always appreciated their fighting skills, and spirit, but they had a lot of inner resentment (hate), that they couldn't control.
It finally has caught up with them, and after all of their initial success, they have hit a wall of legal, and psychological problems.
A wall that they can't circumvent, it appears that their boxing careers are just about done.
Attempting to continue their boxing careers would probably be even more detrimental to their mental health, and legal woes unfortunately.

I don’t see that happening unless plant goes on a tear, I also think plant isn’t doing himself favours by staying at super middle and should think about a move to light heavy. Plant was doing well against Canelo but in typical plant fashion he got tired and got caught. Plant seems to gas out around the 8-9th rounds in every fight. Some have conjectured that it’s his style that tires him out and that’s plausible and I would certainly think his ko ratio would go up if he sat down on his punches more. I had him only a couple of rounds behind Canelo in their fight. While Canelo has solved his stamina problems, plant hasn’t. There could always be a physiological reason why this is the case, it could be style, or it could be he may need to reevaluate his strength and conditioning coach/program and dietician
