Isn't Fundora and Spence fighting sometime November?

Fundora has been holding off officially announcing it because Crawford is the WBO mandatory.

Basically, he was hoping Crawford would take a fight at 168 or 160 instead of enforcing the mandatory status. Then Fundora could keep both of his belts and defend against Spence.

But now he has to choose: he can either fight Spence next as he was planning to and drop the WBO belt, or he can take the Crawford fight next and go for a WBA/WBC/WBO unification.

That's the choice Fundora has:
fight Errol Spence for 1 belt
or
fight Terence Crawford for 3 belts

Very true. The only point missing is this - either way, the next fight for Fundora will be his last big money fight. After that he rides off into obscurity and irrelevance (on the big stage). He will become a contender, a gate keeper for young and up and coming contenders. His promoter knows this and will maximise the money for his next fight because that is all he cares about.
