Lets see him vs Vergil or Serhii. If he beats them, then he should deserve a rematch.

If the Saudis are looking to make 50/50 fights put Madrimov vs Bohachuk on an undercard.
That is a very good idea and it would be a good fight. Let's be honest - both Madrimov and Bohachuk did well enough in their fights, but can anyone honestly see these guys as being the main event ppv fighters that sell out arenas? I don't think so. Good, solid undercard guys - both of them.

Bud is not going to give Madrimov an immediate rematch. He wants Canelo. If he beats Canelo, and doesn't retire, I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch against Madrimov. Madrimov can box!!!!

          Despite what the casuals think.

these guys need to be told. you have to go all out. the cards are stacked against you and you WILL NOT get any benefits of the doubt. Egis NEEDS an American guy who will tell him all those nuisances. time in and time out these guys behave like a close fight will go there way. I mean GGG beat Canelo 8-4 and still only got draw. Loma clearly beat Haney as well. but got to finish strong and go for the kill pretty much.

As I've said, many times, Israil Madrimov is the the toughest, most difficult guy at 154lbs and if given the chance, he annihilates every other champion. If Turki is willing to finance a title shot, Madrimov beats everyone not named Crawford.

Madrimov will not get a rematch, he should have argued for a rematch clause in the contract with Bud. Madrimov fought OK but didn't throw enough punches and didn't take enough chances during the fight. He should have fought harder knowing that he was fighting a top pound for pound fighter in the world. He needs to fight a few tomato cans and work his way back up before fighting another champion. Someone never told him that he was Bud's tune up fight for Canelo if that ever happens. Madrimov thinks that he is a A level fighter. At best he is a C+, B- level fighter.

I don't think he'll do that in a rematch. I think he might go for the kill and I think they should run it again.

I don't see a pathway for Madrimov to get a title shot anytime soon. I don't think he deserves an immediate rematch. Ironically, I do think Bohachuk deserves an immediate rematch! Since that's not gonna happen, I would love to see Turki make Madrimov vs. Bohachuk! That would be perfect for CRawford vs. Ortiz, if Crawford accepts that fight next!

I suppose I understand why some people hated that fight, but I was actually enthralled by Madrimov's strategy - because it was very effective, and especially since it was such a departure from his normal style. I can guarantee that every coach with a fighter anywhere in line to fight Crawford has studied that fight multiple times already.
