He brings nothing more to the table than 25 lbs ? So being the WBC mandatory for 2 years is not enough reason to fight Benavidez ? You fought khan and he wasn`t even ranked in junior middle weight and dint care about those 25lbs. Canelo is scared to fight him plain and simple, so he is completely pricing himself out of the fight. I bet his numbers ( ppv ) are going to be among his lowest when his fights bumlanger.

Yellow belly Canelo says Benavidez has done nothing at Super middle, but if that is the case why did Yellow belly duck him instead faced fighters from divisions below. It's the fight everyone called for and would of generated money more than the Khan, Ryder etc. Canelo is the modern day ducker everyone knows his scared to lose to Benavidez.

Canelo on his way out the game, ofc he'll want to squeeze every single buck outa potential Benny fight. Floyd did it with Manny and their fight made the history books....financially at least.

Canela, keep your bs opinion to yourself, coward and fraud. If Benavidez does fight Bivol at some point, I would bet Benavidez wins a couple of rounds, not like you getting slapped around for 12 rounds like a little kid. Thank the judges for the horrible score on the Bivol fight. Also, you forgot to tell us """" Mexicans don't F??? around"""

Now Canelo is talking about fighting Benavidez because he didn't look strong at 175lbs. Typical Canelo, the weaker an opponent looks the better of a fight that it will be for him. He likes guys that he knows he can beat and that he gets paid handsomely for. If Benavidez fights again and knocks his opponent out, then Canelo will back off from fighting him.

I don't know wht when they interview him why they don't ask who else he may like to fight - let him mention a name. If he won't THEN put a name to him. Ask him about Pacheco and Mbilli at least.

Also, ffs, ask the belt orgs why they strip some fighters in under six months and give others a free ride for years .. well, we know the answer, so when they trot out some bs then you ask them "isn't the real reason because you make far higher franchise fees when Canelo fights ?" - and somebody have the video ready when Sulaiman's face contorts in embarassment - actually he has no shame so scrap that idea.

Canelo will NEVER fight Benavidez. He's full of crap! Floyd fought Manny late in the game, because there was still a huge demand for it, and they are close in age. It won't work for Canelo to wait until he's ready to retire, because he's six years older than Benavidez. As time goes on, it just gets harder and harder for Saul to be effective against David, and he knows it. Nothing would embarrass him more than to have his ass handed to him in his last fight. He tried to save face after losing to Bivol by saying that a rematch was his top priority so he could have his revenge, yet it never happened. He instead offered Bivol the same lowball that he offered him in the first fight, knowing that Dimitru would reject it as the victor of that fight. Similarly, he's demanding $200K to fight Benavidez, knowing that even the fifthly oil-rich Alalshiek won't put up that much for one fighter. He even engaged in a public feud with Turki to make sure to sour him against meeting his outrageous demand.
