  • Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury rematch is a total farce. A complete waste of time and an insult to boxing fans everywhere!

Tyson got humiliated by a cruiserweight, and no matter what happens in the next fight, that stain is permanent. His legacy is shattered beyond repair. And let's not even mention the embarrassment of the Ngannou fight. it's a joke that just keeps getting worse.

Yeah I dislike rematches being practically the norm. Neither guy has many fights left, I would much rather see them taking on fresh opponents. That way they can maybe pass the torch to someone new before they bow out too.

I feel the same way. It’s disappointing that rematches have become so common. With only a few fights left, it would be better if they challenged different fighters. It would be great to see them give the next generation a chance to shine before they step away from the ring.

Keep telling yourself that, but I'd rather gouge my eyes out than waste time on that garbage like the rest of you mindless drones.

It's a good fight, and then fury fights josh, we can really see pecking order this era

First fight was good. Don't mind seeing it again. With the problems fury created to get the first fight over the line the very least we can expect is a rematch

Got to say tho if the decision would have somehow gone furys way there is no way this rematch would take place

No, there needs to be a rematch. Tyson Fury should of rematch Wladimir Kiltschko, who was a Champion of close to 10 years.

Anthony Joshua when he beat Wladimir Kiltschko, even though his victory was way more brutally conclusive than Tyson Fury's 'Joshua without any hesitation offered Kiltschko a rematch, Wladimir Kiltschko took it upon himself? To make the decision to retire from the sport after a great effort vs Anthony Joshua'.

I understand why certain folk here are complaining, be my guest? Tell me if I am wrong 'I think some of you folk live in video game land, and that is what you think competition is. Like the way on Street fighter or Tekken, soon as you get past one opponent you move on to the next'.

In reality guys, that is not how competition works 'At no point in boxing history, have esteemed Champions disappeared after losing one fight. Especially a fight were they lose over the distance on points'.

Note: Muhammad Ali made the rematch with Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton. Evander Holyfield made the rematch with Mike Tyson. Rid**** Bowe made the rematch with Evander Holyfield.

The facts of the matter is this? Tyson Fury has been one of the three Heavyweight Mountains of this boxing era 'Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua'. When you zoom out of this boxing era, and analyse the entire era from a distal perception 'It becomes clear that, on the real? This boxing era has mostly been about those three fighters. Every single rivale and story line was in some way influenced by those three fighters, and together they were responsible I estimate for about 95% of the clearing out of the entire Heavyweight Division'.

Oleksandr Uysk is a great fighter, he is the most accomplished active fighter in the sport 'And pound for pound, in my opinion has the two best individual wins in the sport vs Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua'.

But as a Heavyweight fighter, this really has not been Oleksandr Uysk's era 'He in terms of time and history, has only just appeared in the division. Uysk is not really doing what Evander Holyfield did during the 1990's, Evander Holyfield had a entire career at Heavyweight'.

Oleksandr Uysk in comparison has decided to fight out the latter part of his career in Heavyweight division, and ambush the titles 'Those tactics have worked out well for him so far, but there is one issue? Oleksandr Uysk is not beating his nearest competition conclusively enough as a Champion, to the point were at rematch is unwarranted'.

To conclude: Oleksandr Uysk is a great fighter, but he is not dominant to that type of level 'That is why even Tyson Fury after being smashed in the 9th round, still believes he can beat Oleksandr Uysk. And it is also why Anthony Joshua believes he can beat Oleksandr Uysk'.

I have already made the statement, that if the 3rd fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Uysk is ever called for 'I would back Anthony Joshua for the win. In fact? It is getting to the point now, were people don't want to say it. But they are definitively thinking about, whether Oleksandr Uysk even survives the full 12 rounds vs Anthony Joshua if he utilizes all of his power'.

When Lennox Lewis fought Evander Holyfield for the first time, controversially the fight was scored a draw 'Lennox Lewis in my opinion won the fight. But he had the ability to win the fight more conclusively, it was Don King who stated after the fight? When you get a fighter hurt you have to put their lights out, Evander Holyfield's light was still shining. Of course he stated this in his own words'.

Oleksandr Uysk got the wins vs Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua 'But lets all be honest? Has he really put their lights out, has he really beat these guys down to the point were both Fury and Joshua are being advised for their own well being not to take the rematches? No, he has not'.

But if any of these Heavyweight fighters, want to be seen as the last man standing of their era 'That is precisely what they have to do. That is what Lennox Lewis did vs Mike Tyson, Lewis conclusively beat Mike Tyson. After that fight, Lennox Lewis was the last man standing from the late 80's and 90's Heavyweight boxing era'.

The competition to see who will be the last man standing from this Heavyweight era is still on going 'And as I have always stated, it will reach a organic conclusion. These three fighters all believe they can still beat each other, and we can all envision how that is possible'.

Therefor I believe that the rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Uysk is warranted 'It is going to take more than just a points loss over the distance, to make Heavyweight mountains such as Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to disappear and to abdicate their Heavyweight dynasties'.

It has never happened before in the History of boxing, that easily 'Champions put up a fight. If there is any glimmer opportunity, and potential? Then they are right there fighting for that glory. To live in part is to fight, everyone is fighting something'.

It was Rocky Balboa who stated 'Boxing is a metaphor to life, so what I say is? Let these guys fight, the competition will organically reach its conclusion etc.

The first fight had its back and forth and is more deserving of a rematch than other fights generally are.

If they skipped it i would be fine with that though as well. no idea what fury is going to look like, anyone seen him recently at all? has he blown up again? last fight he had two back to back training camps and came in light. we already seen him carried out of some bar unable to walk, i think we seen the best possible tyson last time around at this point......

AJ we never seen him with Tyson or with Wilder.... wilder is shot now, so that fight came and went. both him and fury are past their best by now but that fight i still want to see.

yeah 100% dont want to see a 3rd fight with AJ and Usyk, AJ had his chance, twice. he got outboxed twice. I would rather see the fury rematch than that fight. but Id rather see Tyson-AJ the most.
