I actually don't mind 40 year old fighting 40 year old.Botha is still decent & I'd love to see him fight Holyfield, mercer, toney, mccall, golota, williamson,et c.many veteran fights could be made.I don't mind because the power is last to go.

With this heavy commitment to danish pro boxing by Hans Henrik Palm the fightscene can become interesting. A battle for promotional supremacy with Sauerland looms in the distance.
I'm baffled hearing that Mads Larsen isn't in shape. It's not as if this fight just popped up so he really should be in great condition now. Or perhaps some televisionmoney for Palm is unavailable untill the new year?

kinda hoping Wlodarczyk can win to set up another shot at the WBC belt.
**man if Povetkin fights Chambers for the IBF interim belt talk about a win-win for Wlad
but I have to ask ... if your Eddie Chambers why would you bother fighting Povetkin for an interim belt, when you already have a mandatory position with the WBO
it just seems like a very big and almost unnecessary risk to take. Granted Chambers probably would like to rematch with Povetkin
however if Eddie loses not a good idea.
better choice to take a stay busy/tune up fight and sit on his ranking like Collazo
**any word on if Chambers has agreed to fight Povetkin again?

Palm had female star Vinni Skovgaard on contract until a few months ago, and he let her go from that contract. Up to that point he had not done much to get her fights. He just took the offers that came (from Palle, Sauerland etc.) and she had to hunt in-between fights herself. So now, Palm is suddenly heavily committed? Why?
I don't believe for a minute that Mogens Palle is not behind this. Palm has never before done anything in boxing without mapping it out together with Palle, and it is Palle who has had the contact with Mads Larsens advisor since the start of the year. I think Palm is just the front figure, whose face-value is supposed to get tv-contracts, sponsors and fighters, because people don't want to deal with the tarnished image of Palle.
Mogens Palle himself said a couple of months ago that he had plans and "something brewing". I think this is it, even though Palm denies it. It is obviously Palle who is going to have his fighters on the undercard.
In the end, the big loser will be Mads Larsen, I fear. Palle has succeeded in luring him away from Sauerland, but he has not done so out of love. Larsen had an IBF title fight with Bute earlier this year that went down the drain for that reason (because he hoped to face Kessler instead), and now he has put his career in the hands of a guy, who doesn't (until proven otherwise) have tv-backing and whose motives are vague?
It might not be a wise choice.
