The problem is that they're looking at the big paydays like you said in their 20s while Mayweather de La Hoya Mosley Trinidad we're taking on some big fights and work their way up to those multi-million dollar paydays

Stevenson did fight Valdez in a good matchup but him looking to be a megafight fighter for tens of millions after that win is like if Mayweather demanded 20 million after beating Castillo. Floyd didn't get those mega money fights until he moved up and got the de La Hoya exposure. Stevenson needs to be impressive and find a high profile fight even if it doesn't get him everything he wants with the expectation that he might gain popularity just for taking and winning the fight and then things can follow afterwards if he has the personality

yeah they forget that mayweather fought DLH when he was 30 and had fought a ton of champs and former champs along the way and then gave DLH every demand he wanted to make the fight. then in the last 8 years of his career he got those big pay days after putting in the work. these guys go to 30 now and fight no names at all and are just waiting for one big cash out fight and it doesnt help that canelo enabled charlo by giving him a pay day after doing nothing for years and years.

I'm not a fan but he obviously anticipates shots extremely well. He hasn't been in with very good opposition but Shakur will be tough to beat. Tough to watch too unfortunately.

I don’t think he’s as hard to beat as it seems. EDLS would have beat him if he just simply pressed the action.

That's the main problem. Tank wants no part of that hype. Much less interested in ending it even when his other choices are slim to none. Man, fans would most likely be rooting for Wahid if the fight happens. Sadly, he won't even take a look at it. No offers, no talking with Shak or his team, nothing.

Tank is probably going to choose a Latino to sell. Hell, the last time Mayweather fought 2 black fighters in a row was Mitchell, Judah. The Martin fight probably bombed...

what crazy demands did hoya make though? people say this like floyd went out of his way to make the fight but there was nothing crazy that hoya wanted because hoya always fought fair fights, there were no catchweights, rehydro clauses, fake drug testing or stu-pid sh-it like that. people bring up that the glove size was different but thats because they use bigger gloves at 154, and in all of floyds fights there he fought with 10oz gloves.

then when floyd got the a-side power he started to cheat his opponents unlike hoya. catchweights, fake testing demands that he kept goalpost moving to avoid fights, pillow gloves, lowball offers etc...floyd helped usher in the degradation of boxing and canelo saw what floyd did and ran with it, and the next guy will do the same or worse. floyd took that first step of "i wonder if i can get away with this..." and we saw that he could. now the floodgates are open

That's the unfortunate part. Tank is getting a pass and they're dumping everything on Shakie. Even the Haney issue is being dumped on Shakie when Haney has been available for Tank from the very beginning when Hanky was comfortably fighting at 135. I can't count the number of times Haney called out Tank but went on deaf ears.

                      - - l'l floydy Crack Daddy say Oscar whoooped l'l floydy good like he Crack Daddy used to do when he a sissykiddy.

Thank goodness he showed his sissyboy self to have nervous break down, bawling like baby while announcing he was skipping out on the lucrative rematch. Manny saved the expensive promotion for Oscar to jump 2 weight classes to retire Oscar permanently...the way it was, is, and forever shall be...
