  • Ortiz / Boachuk Knockdown Video Instant Replay Review

So if boxing has video instant replay to overturn slips/knockdowns/headbutts etc then why is it so scarcely used??? its so under utilized that we even forget boxing has it

Its not mandatory, boxing shows pretty much run their own rules, it would be nice to have an official format like this that must be used in all boxing events.

im not arguing that he wasnt, im saying the fact that boxing has the replay system and you RARELYYYY ever see it used

It varies depending on what athletic commission is in charge of the fight. Some of them allow video replay, others explicitly don't allow it, others haven't updated their rules since before the technology was invented.

it was in nevada and we see tons of fights in vegas with the NAC and its still barely ever used, its just weird. Typical boxing I guess.
