Comments Thread For: British heavyweight title heads to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - again

Aside from the punches thrown and the damage done, what made the British heavyweight title fight between Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke such a thrilling spectacle had a lot to do with its purity and its heart. It was, in short, a British heavyweight title fight done right; the way it should be done. It had been talked about, it had been built up, and then, crucially, at just the right time, it had been delivered, expertly.

This looks like another sell out, sending jobs to other countries. No matter the excuse, now there's a bunch of bored dry Brits with nowhere to go and nothing to do.

I keep telling you guys this TURD-ki guy is bad for boxing. He is trying to monopolize world boxing and center it in Saudi. The UK promoters have sold out and Hearn has been trying his best for years to convince American boxers that they should sell out too. He has gotten a few on board but most have held their ground and are staying in the good ole USA. Seeing Boots sell out and will be eventually fighting against Euros in Saudi is sad. Bud just headlined a failed show in Los Angeles that no American media covered. Now Shakur has accepted being an undercard fighter that no one in America will be watching. Looks like PBC is the last on left holding the line in America. Thank you Al Haymon!

Rayo, Pitbull, Ruiz all PBC fighter fought for Turki Thanks to Al Haymon.

Turki cant make that Many events. They will still be here in America. He can't afford them all. He is only targeting big fights to bring Tourism to Riyahd. They are doing what fights do to Vegas.

He also seems to be the last promoter who can make big cards that sell PPVs and sell out stadiums and arenas in the usa without the house of saud. As the man said previously, those who want to see Turki take over boxin mg are the same people who wanted Hearn to control American boxing

Like Vegas? They gamble in Vegas. Tourism? Nobody wants to go there. Sin city or Sharia? No drespect, do you really think tourism is fueling this?

Saudi Arabia's biggest obstacles to drawing tourists to the desert is not PBC...it is 9/11. They still have not answered for the ********* attacks on Sept 11 2001 that killed thousands of Americans. 19 hi jackets were Saudi citizens. That is the main reason why their venture into pro golf failed. It will be the main reason why their venture into pro boxing will fail! You can place that bet in either desert doesn't matter!

That's what they want. They have Riyahd Shopping Center and Kindom Arena next to each other. He is "Promoting" Riyahd Season in the platform. He wants the world to have it's eyes on their location. It seems they are trying to make it a tourist location. Vegas in the middle of the desert with exseive heat. October to May the weather is nice in Riyahd.

Not really. Golden Boy did it with Canelo and Matchroom did it with Canelo.
Spence is done. Tank can't sell without Ryan.
