I don't know if you can be disrespected when no one outside of boxing purists know who you are...

She's not knocking people out, and even then, Skye is much more entertaining than her. Amanda is more entertaining. And so is Franchon. Baumgardner, Katie Taylor... This is off the top of my head, after just getting off of work...

In boxing, you don't earn respect by being undefeated and defensive. Willie Pep was defensive, but is best known for his 1-3 record in fights against Sandy Sadler. Floyd is defensive, but he was offensive at first, and brilliantly combined mastered the two. Pernell Whitaker was defensive, but he was entertainingly defensive.

You want respect? Risk it sometimes. You want your health, why, you and Shakur keep doing your thing. Very few, if any, have both their health and respect.

This should go without saying, but this is, by no means, any level of disrespect towards Clarissa. I'm neutral to her, and that's okay. There's A LOT of boxers; we can't watch and like all of them, or even care.

don't forget 2 back to back Olympic Gold Medals. People still have a problem giving Serena Williams, Simone Biles, and Clarissa Shields their props. You can read really nasty things about them online. What is the common denominator? Successful black women.

Female boxing is not a sport with a deep talent pool, it's just the truth. Being the best in that sport isn't something that deserves a great deal of credit.

Was that the time when she threw a temper tantrum because she was getting her ass whipped by a girl probably 15 years younger than her, then used the "I'm a woman and I have a daughter!" card to victimize herself? Or was that another time she couldn't control her roid rage?

Also, I couldn't care less about women's boxing. Been watching the sport since 1998, and even back then if two girls managed to make it onto Friday Night Fights to kill time until the actual fighters were ready to go, I would change the channel unless one of them was very attractive, or looked like their top would slip. Then I'd watch for a bit...before changing the channel. I have never watched a girl boxing match for the same reason I've never seen a WNBA game.

But whenever I hear a broad claiming she can beat her male equivalent in a combat sport (and a bunch of her light hitting - but still taking it easy on her because she's a girl - sparring partners claiming similar), that just lets me know how insecure and delusional she is, and I'm gonna disregard her as an inferior athlete in an inferior sport...because she is.

Being the "best female boxer" is, to quote a very funny movie, "like being the smartest kid with Down Syndrome." A few of her male boxer friends white knighting for her means absolutely nothing. They just make themselves look ****** by insisting this thot should be arbitrarily given respect that male boxers get...when she's NOT a man.

Women's boxing is boring and this site shouldn't even cover it. Stop forcing it on us go make their own site for women boxing

Also Clarissa shield is a ****** trash human being. She claims she can beat male champions, well she was dropped in light sparring with some random journey man who is 30 pounds smaller than her and then pulled a knife on him she should be banned for life from boxing for that and arrested as well

She's nasty, racist, a loud mouth, disrespectful, etc., etc., etc.,etc., I'm no expert in human psychology but maybe that's why people just can't stomach her. Just an uneducated guess
