This is either a washing-of-hands by Santos or a betting sting

Rosario's latest 3 defeats have been by quality fighters - Mendoza is a tough out for everyone, same Lubin and obviously Charlo. But hard to overlook alcohol abuse.

The answer to the original question is no. Neither Rosario nor Hurd can revive their career with a win against the other.

This fight will only tell us which one is less shot and more motivated at this point of their careers. The winner may parlay the victory into a semi-significant fight.

I wasn't aware of Rosario's alcohol and stuff issues. Now I'm sure about my Hurd pick.

Well put there the fight is a match up of two guys who are no longer noticed in the game or bring much excitement into fight fight card but someone thought it would make some dollars and sense to them. Rosi never took to commitment to boxing or the opportunities he was given for whatever reason they may choose to mention. Hurd is another fighter we have not heard from in a while and for his special reasons. Could a fight of some kind break out, sure that is always a possibility inside the ring, but that will not Show greatness on either fighters part, just an illusion that they might matter past this one pay day......Put it on FOX TV to the general public and it may get some eye's on it.................

Rosario looks like he's aged about 15 years since the J-Rock fight.

I've never been impressed by Rosario , even a Hurd past his expiration date has an easy night with him.
