Comparing to Roy Jones??? Don't anyone ever fking compare him to Roy Jones. Damn these fking morons these days making lame comparisons! Jones was a blizzard of heat sinking missiles making Ennis look like he is fighting under water! And this is a guy two divisions higher making a Welterweight look slow by comparison >>>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ih9tmL20y4

Does the typical cab driver make more at the end of the day waiting around for the unicorn high-paying airport run or does he make out better taking as many fares as possible to just keep that meter running. The answer is to just keep taking fares and keep that cab busy all the time. At the end of the day, they make more money.
I wish a guy like Boots who says he wants to be the superstar that eve casual fans will pay to see in the ring would adopt the same strategy. Fight ALL the time. Tale ALL comers. If he's as good as he says he is, he should be confident to keep winning. More exposure means more fans means higher gate and PPV.
He's at the right place in his career to at least TRY.
I know I may sound naive but if fan interest is waning because of high ticket prices coupled with a fight every 18 months, let's at least see what happens with a different paradigm.
What you are suggesting above, makes sense. He needs to keep fighting, taking on all comers and the big fights will happen, eventually. Right now, he is just a fantastic prospect, who it seems is waiting for a large payday, which does not seem to be happening. Stop waiting and start fighting.Left Hook Louie

I'm sorry to say, but at this point, these sanctioning bodies with their titles are quite a joke.
Look at who they make mandatory and which fights they order and you can't believe it. Of course, they want their fee for you being a 'champion' with one of their belts.

What cracks me up every time is you have nobodys on this site who will say, “he has fought no one.” Yet the same can be said for “their guy.” He then gets a strap and yet they will keep saying, “he hasn’t fought anyone.” He then gets a ridiculous mandatory and is now expected to drop said strap to fight somebody. Then when he drops said strap they will demand he make an offer. Then offer gets made, “A-side” “their fighter” turns it down. Then you hear, “he brings nothing to the table.” “He hasn’t fought anybody” “he’s high risk low rewards.” You can’t make this s h I t up.

Remember Golovkin being hated and made accountable for all the fights he did starting from his first pro fight. Here is Ennis fought a guy named Arnoutis in his 20th fight who had 10 loses and do you know where some of those loses came from? There was Josesito Lopez, Chris Algieri, Victor Ortiz, Danny Garcia, Delvin Rogriguez and more. Just imagine if Golovkin had that kind of record. Or any other known fighter. Give me a break!
