That’s why I laugh now when I hear people say Boots is being ducked. Dude and his Pops do more talking than seeking out tough challenges. When somebody really want the smoke, u ll know. Ortiz wants all the smoke as evidenced by been able to line up Stanionis, Tsyzu and Bohachuk in 20 fights by the way. Boots is 32 fights in and yet to fight a live body. Stanionis is looking for a fight but I doubt Boots will fight him. He ll probably go on to fight a nobody and go back to calling out Crawford. Am no longer fooled and I get it is a business too but at least stand on that part instead of the illusion

Here is one guy with a belt at 147 who says he wants the fight. Will Boots duck him and keep mentioning Crawford (because he has left the building) or will he take up the challenge.

Look at Boot’s resume. Past 15 opponents have lost a total of 64 fights. Boots only will fight guys with a 4-1 loss to win ratio and Norman isn’t in that category…. Boots hanging in Philly for years to come. Eddie knows-

I can see your point. I don’t think Santillian even did anything for him to do that. I think Norman was just in a flow state that night and decided to show off. But yeah, I can see where you’re coming from.
