I think the reason why the boxing deal has been taking so long to come out is because they were waiting on the NBA deal to get done first. The NBA just finished a 10-year 80 billion dollar deal to showcase its games on three platforms: Amazon (Prime) ABC (ESPN) and NBC ( Pea****). Those three networks just happen to carry the two most popular sports in America which are football and basketball. Pro and College. All of the games of the NBA will be shown 7 nights a week on one of those 3 networks. Shouldn't be hard to mix boxing in with fut...football and basketball since those fanbases are the same as boxing. Hopefully we will see some cross-promo fights against TR (ESPN) and maybe even some PBC vs Queensbury on Pea****. You never know....doe!!Last edited by DClefthook; 08-15-2024, 02:20 AM.Comment

Clearly he turned the Crawford fight down as his manager knows further down the line if Tszyu has picked up that last remaining IBF belt, Crawford will come after it after invoking his mandatory against the Fundora Spence winner and grabbing the others. Just business. That’s what his manager meant when he said he was looking after his fighter.
He doing exactly what Crawford is doing, picking the low hanging fruit whilst he can knowing the bigger money unification fights are to follow most likely with Saudi money behind them.
Crawford Tszyu is easily the best fight that can be made at 154 in my opinion. Makes sense for it to be for undisputed.Comment

Definitely an upgrade over Plant/McCumby as a main event for the free card. I haven't seen full fights of Murtzaliev, he struggled in his fight with Culcay before stopping the durable veteran. He also won an 8 round decision over the same dude that Conwell just blasted out in two.Comment

Turki is a vulture.
This is exactly what Al Haymon encourages his guys to do. Be your own boss. You don't need a loud mouth British promoter or an ignorant Saudi culture vulture telling you what to do. Tim has an entire country naturally behind him and doesn't need to unnecessarily give a piece of his earnings away to someone who doesn't deserve it.
The vulture is a Turki.
Either way, Turki will ALWAYS have a place at my Thanksgiving dinner table.Comment

You act like there is a garden of low hanging fruit. Like Timmy will just grab a quick Title and ride off into the sunset. I know it sounds like I'm hating on Tim, but its the talk about what he can do and he hasn't done any of it. He got an email title and couldn't hold that and still the talk about him ruling the roost. I never saw a guy get buddy roughed and people still sing his praises with no doubts.Clearly he turned the Crawford fight down as his manager knows further down the line if Tszyu has picked up that last remaining IBF belt, Crawford will come after it after invoking his mandatory against the Fundora Spence winner and grabbing the others.
