Teofimo Lopez Jr. is calling his shots and taking some too. The WBO junior welterweight champion Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs) recently rejected a Sept. 27 fight date at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York on ESPN. A matchup against recently elevated WBO welterweight titleholder Brian Norman Jr. was on the table.

It's always something with Teofimo. If he's not complaining about money, it's about the venue. Or he's complaining about a lack of support from TR/ESPN. Teo loves to complicate things. You had a title fight on the table vs. Norman for next month and you rejected it because it's in NY instead of LA. This is petty bullshxt. He's only ever headlined the MSG arena once vs. Sandor Martin. He wants to fight in LA, but allegedly can't even sell out his home arena first. That should be his mission. Talking about Ennis and Crawford when he doesn't even fight Norman who's on his side of the street! Or go to Australia and fight Liam Paro, and try to redeem your performance vs. Kambosos.

That's my problem with him! He talks too damn much, ever since the Loma fight! I hope Turki is listening, and they make Boots vs. Lopez ASAP!!! There's nothing else really compelling @ 147 for Boots! Teo would be a game changer!

Sounds like Two is in cash out mode. Won't risk losing against Norman as that'd derail his career but losses against Ennis and Bud would be excusable

Teo needs to shut up and fight Brian Norman. There’s nobody else since for him at Top Rank.

No, the fights should be Ennis/Norman and Paro/Lopez. I'm tired of boxers bending the sport to accommodate their cherry-picking behavior. Teofimo has deluded himself into thinking that he's conquered 140, but he simply doesn't want to do the hard work necessary to become Undisputed again. That's why he keeps trying to sell this bullshxt narrative that the Josh Taylor fight was more valuable than it actually was. If he wants an LA fight so bad, then try to unify with Rayo Valenzuela.

If Teo wants to move up to 147, then fight Norman who also has the WBO title. He shouldn't even be mentioning Ennis.

Teo dumb. He has arguably lost to Martin and Ortiz. He probably believes what he says and that's the sign of a weak mind. Ennis and Crawford would snatch his soul. He needs to fight Matias, lol

This is what this emotional clown does when he has absolutely no intentions of fighting the opps that's named

At one time people had high hopes for Teofimo, but his career has been up and down. He has beaten some top fighters, but no consistency. Better not fight Crawford, stay at 147 plenty of tough guys there.
