No, the fights should be Ennis/Norman and Paro/Lopez. I'm tired of boxers bending the sport to accommodate their cherry-picking behavior. Teofimo has deluded himself into thinking that he's conquered 140, but he simply doesn't want to do the hard work necessary to become Undisputed again. That's why he keeps trying to sell this bullshxt narrative that the Josh Taylor fight was more valuable than it actually was. If he wants an LA fight so bad, then try to unify with Rayo Valenzuela.

If Teo wants to move up to 147, then fight Norman who also has the WBO title. He shouldn't even be mentioning Ennis.

Teo wants a BIG fight, which is why he's talking about Ennis and Crawford! I'm not mad at that! However, don't name drop, then walk away, and say "I'm fighting Norman, because no one wants to fight me!"

I like Ennis, but he's yet to truly earn the #1 spot. Teofimo is name-dropping him because the buzz around Ennis has increased. Teo is an attention whore who's looking to leech off someone's momentum. Norman is a title fight and an in-house matchup, and he's coming off a good win vs. Santillan. The issue is Norman's risk:reward ratio. If Teo thought Norman posed no threat, he would immediately move up and take his title...therefore setting up a unification with Ennis on a Riyadh card. But no, Teo is using lame excuses to not take the fight. I want Ennis vs. Norman anyway.

He should go fight Paro (IBF) in Australia. It's a decent match-up and easily marketable. If he unifies, then he earns the right to go after Ennis (IBF) or Norman (WBO). Right now, Teo is trying to talk himself into a big fight. Someone should remind him that he fought fxcking Steve Claggett. He isn't in the position to be calling shots.

I do not like Teofimo, why? Because he's a dude who calls out guys he doesn't intend to fight, just to make some press for himself. He plays too many games. He's the same guy who, in his last fight, got both eyes swollen shut and dark red like 2 plums, and yet he wants to fight Boots and Bud??! Doesn't he understand that either one of those dudes will annihilate him in the ring?

I think the smart thing to do would be to fight Norman, and then Ennis for a unification. Unless he's afraid he won't beat Norman lol.
