The only way that a round could possibly end up 9-9 is if the winner of the round is then deducted a point from his score of ten. It doesn't go onto the scoresheet as a 9 , it's written as a 10 , then a point is deducted and reduces the total score by a point. You will not find any score where a round is 9-9.

No hard feelings. You can score them however you want.

As long as you score them for the fighters that I like...lol.

I'm right . If a guy is dominating the round and gets knocked down , it can be scored 10-8 or 10-9 , never 9-9. It's even in the name ,Ten Point Must System , meaning that the winner of the round MUST get 10 points. I don't know where you looked but whoever has that information posted should take it down. Even if both guys get knocked down in a round it's a 10-10 round , unless one does clearly better then it's 10-9. The winner of around will always be awarded 10 points . Points can be deducted from there but they will be deducted from the original 10 score.

I used to correspond pretty regularly with a boxing judge back when I was interested in getting into judging , long story why I didn't end up doing it. My friend is in his 90's now but if he's still lucid I can get confirmation for you.
That’s awesome and I will look more into it

Just out of interest have they published the official score cards? I haven't seen them. If the two judges scored 10-8 the two rounds with knock downs it means they only gave Bohachuk 1 round out of 10 competitive rounds.

Yup, this is how it's been scored every time I've ever seen it. Winner MUST get 10, hence the name. And KD rounds are virtually always scored 10-8. In theory, they COULD get scored 10-9 or even 10-10 if it was a flash KD, and the boxer on the wrong side of the KD was completely dominating every other second (recent examples maybe Inoue v Nery, Usyk v Dubois, maybe Bam v Estrada), but in practice, including the examples I gave, it doesn't happen.
