    Like I told you, it's a 50/50 fight. You won't believe me.

He definitely won the last three rounds without doubt

Same. I just looked at my scorecards and Vergil pulled the rabbit out of a hat. I had him sweeping the last three rounds and got him a draw on my scorecards.

it doesn't matter if it's a flash KD, or a highlight reel. if you get dropped, that's a massive scoring advantage. in boxing you need to stay on your feet, it's literally the most important thing for a fighter, hence why defense is so important. if you get dropped, you really need to absolutely wash your opponent to claw back the round and that never happened in either of the rounds.

you guys are significantly understating the importance of getting a knock down. there's a reason why no judge ever gives the guy who gets dropped the round and you can go back 15 years and count on 1 hand how many times it's happened

Hell of a fight though ... Ortiz the better boxer got beaten by resilience ..
Neither rd was 10-8 champ. Both 9-8 boha was literally hurt and beat around the ring both those rds.

See I never understood that mentality. You move the goal posts and give the championship “extra credit” or “protection” for nothing.

Scoring a fight needs to be as unbiased as possible. Creating a standard like, “you need to take the belt” from the champ is a biased way of thinking.

So in a close round you say, “oh it was close, I give it to the champ because he’s the champ.” No. You need to find something that they did in the ring to decide who won the round.
