It was a tough fight for him and I'm sure he'll learn from his mistakes. He's a young guy with a bright future ahead of him.

He aint one dimensional, if you have seen all his fights he can actually box really well and have a nasty jab, but the kid fell in love with his power and got a hue wake up call.

I think he needs a new corner!!!!
he maybe can, against bums. Best boxer in my hometown boxing gym looks like floyd when sparring against locals...he looks fast, sticks his chin out and moves out of the way while jabbing the **** out of you. But i wonder what hell do against a national champ to say the least.

I dont want to disrespect any fighter man, but it seems like the more his opposition grows, the more he looks for the money punch. Maybe he cant get off using his boxing skills because he fears what may come back. Having said that i still love Juanma because he made me 200$ by betting on his 1st round KO 2 or 3 fights of his ago.

He made a few mistakes, but one clear one.

He kept trading right hooks with Mtagwa even though Mtagwa's got there first a lot of the time. That's the only reason he kept getting hurt, and the only reason he was in danger of losing. Why he didn't stop doing that I don't know. Every time, straight left, wide hook, Mtagwa loops his right hand with it and lands.

And to Juanma's credit, not a lot of fighters will walk through that kind of firepower.

But it's out there now that you can take advantage of his best weapon if you punch with it because his right hook was looking pretty wide. Gamboa WILL do that, and he will land first as well.
