DLH trying to back track his previous comment when he said Madrimov beat Crawford. Not good when he now wants to get Virgil to fight Crawford.

DLH…. Oops Bud, my bad lol

Hmmm, why no Boxing Scene story on how Oscar ripped a Canelo for being so arrogant and overpriced that even the Saudis don’t want to work for him?

If you notice, we actually don't know how much this interloper is paying the fighters, the published purses don't include upside, which much be massive if Eminem is doing sh$$ty concerts before the fight. Point being, for Crawford to take that type of risk this late in his career, he is going to want at least $20 to $30 million the night of the fight. Considering Craw-daddy just allegedly lost $10 million for the king, this potential fight will be a true stress test as to the sustainability of this Saudi venture. Can he pay Crawford? Can he turn a profit? Or he is going to continue to burn money like the Heath Ledgers Joker? Ortiz/Crawford has become an unlikely put up or shut up moment for the Saudi Boxing King.
First of all, Turki has the wealth of a sovereign oil-rich country bankrolling his boxing effort, so I have a feeling he’s not nearly as obsessively worried about the profitability of these cards as you seem to be.

Second, Eminem’s concert was far more worth whatever money Turki paid than the $250 flat fee Canelo probably allows to be paid for the huge hokey mariachi band that always performs for his ring entrance. He won’t allow any more than a few hundred bucks to be paid because :a) it would cut into Greedy Ginger’s excessive purse, and b) his ego couldn’t stand having a well-known celebrity perform at his event and get more cheers than he does - which is exactly what happened when J Balvin performed at Canelo’s mismatch fight against Yildrim in Miami.

Just say you’re fine with Canelo ducking real fighters and depending on gullible fans to milk more millions out of his career as it winds down. Don’t try to conceal that by taking shots at Crawford for wanting to chase greatness or Turki for giving fans the fights they want.

He has an opinion just like you do
Don’t see what the problem is and if anything should entice Bud to beat up his fighter

I am Australian and to be fair to my American friends on this forum, boxers get robbed in every country (Australia, Germany, UK etc etc). Home decisions happen everywhere around the world. I am not aware of a country that is clean and above reproach in this respect.

Yes, I saw that story on another site and on Youtube. Hahahha. Vintage Oscar. Surprised it is not here.

                    You are 100% correct.
The reason I reiterate that all the time is because 9 out of 10 Americans love to spew that shït about how fighting in foreign lands is the worst thing an American could do. They love to claim that we get robbed just because we are Americans.

A lot of foreigners get robbed in the good old US.
