Well too bad for 126 champs cause inoue is not moving up anytime soon. Cause the biggest fight for inoue is junto nakatani not the guys at 126. So that's why 126 champs should be fighting unification and building up their resumes.

It's hilarious how everyone wants inoue to do all the work while rest of them just wait for their payday.

The last unification was in 2003. Juan Manuel Marquez vs Derrick Gainer for the IBF and WBA featherweight titles. (21 years ago).

Early 2000s featherweight was stacked, with the likes of Luisito Espinosa, Kennedy Mckinney, Naseem Hamed, Kevin Kelley, Orlando Salido, Chris John, Junior Jones, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez were around.

Too bad Loma was born a bit later, making his debut in 2013.
But that was not real unification as Gamboa was WBA regular belt holder. The real 126 WBA super champion was Chris John.

We haven't had a true unified champ at 126 since JMM.
