Canelo will put pressue, cut the ring, hit the body and the arms to weaken Crawford. Then Crawford won't did anything just like Charlo. Canelo is shorter than Crawford, let Crawford go to 168 and beat up Plant. Then Ill be interested otherwise is just a mismatch, just like Inueo vs Tank.

Remember when Team Clen were claiming that expecting Ginger to fight GGG at 160 was unfair and Saul 'needed time to grow into his man-strength?'

Maybe he could fight Bud at a catchweight....

These folks constantly contradict themselves. Thats what sick hatred does. Poor guy.

How you can watch that fight and still think Bud has a chance against Canelo is beyond me. Bud is a great fighter, am not taking anything away from him but everything Madrimov was able to do in that fight, Canelo can do 10 times better. He's a stronger fighter than Madrimov, he's got better IQ, he rips crazy body shots, a great counterpuncher, he's heavy handed, he 'll literally beat your elbows and shoulders into submission, and when u open up, he goes for the head. I just don't see how Crawford holds up to that especially at his size and pushing 38. He literally has nothing to keep Canelo off him and before we compare it to Floyd fight who uses his legs extremely well and very agile, Crawford fights nothing like Floyd that's why he gets hit pretty good in every one of his fights. It's just too much to ask of him at this point unless he just wants the payday similar to what Charlo did. Once Charlo felt Canelo's power, we see how he went into survival mode the rest of the way but hey, he got his payday and MIA since then

For Crawford to beat a guy like Canelo, he would need to stick and move the whole fight, work behind the jab and get Canelo's respect early with power shots. Canelo has a very good chin so I don't think Crawford's power would bother him too much. As for the work rate needed to beat Canelo at 37 years old, Crawford would use a lot of energy trying to fight that type of style. Like others said there are plenty of challenges for him at 154 lbs and 147 lbs. He needs to stop running and fight Boots and give Spence a rematch. Crawford's legacy has already been set. If Canelo comes down from 168 and fights at 160lbs then the fight with Crawford would be easier to make. Remember at one point Canelo fought Mayweather at 160lbs. Canelo could meet in the middle at 160lbs if he really really wanted to fight Crawford. I doubt that happens though.

Crawford makes it a good if boring fight in that he will indeed stick and run but if canelo catches him it's lights out

Bro Floyd made canelo cut down to 152 cw for their fight, Mayweather never fought at 160 ever, on the same token, there no way canelo goes back to 160 ,at least not w/out punishing his body I do agree what you said about Bud having plenty challenges left at 154 he can even invite Boots or ESJ to go up in weight meet up at sww why not. TC moving up for canelo would only get him biggest purse of his entire career in exchange for his 0. Thats about it. Wouldn't be competitive.

That is precisely why he is pursuing the fight 'Because in the universal perception of the boxing community, with many folk it is a challenge which is too great for Terrence Crawford'.

It is fine, that certain people have those sort of perceptions 'But once they start using those perceptions, as a reason to stop a fighter from having ambitions then that is when they need to evaluated their own competitive attitude's'.

Breaking the 4 minute mile in track and field athletics, was once deemed as a step too far 'But eventually man kind broke the 4 minute mile'. In 1954 Roger Bannister broke the 4 minute mile, and in that moment he alter the universal perception of the world 'The paradigm of believe had now been altered'.

Climbing mount Everest was once deemed as stepped to far 'Eventually mankind climbed mount Everest and reached the summit'.

Note: I have stated this before, Terrence Crawford is at the stage of his career 'Where he needs to take on challenges, which are universally seen as a step too far by many people within the boxing community, and wider world. Because it is this zone of challenge, where all the great athletes and Champions of the past enter into when? They want to elevate themselves, to levels of greatness which transcends beyond their immediate competitive era's'.

To conclude: Terrence Crawford right now, is not only competing against fighters from this modern era 'His ambitions are to compete against the fighters, from past great era's such as Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao'. Terrence Crawford's believes that he is operating at that level of greatness.

I personally think Crawford is a solid level below both Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao 'And I also believe that Canelo Alvarez currently right now, would beat Terrence Crawford. But that does not invalidate, Terrene Crawford's ambitions of wanting to fight Canelo Alvarez'.

In my opinion Terrence Crawford at this stage his career, should attempt to become the Undisputed Champion at 154 pounds 'Then challenge Canelo Alvarez'. Fighting some of these fighters such as Jaron Boots Ennis, do nothing much to boast his boxing resume in terms of greatness' etc.
