That may be a good analogy. There is good and evil competing with each other in the paranormal universe just as in the real world. Rick Glaser may actually be the good guy or the lesser evil dispelling evil deeds perpetrated by evil doers.
Seriously, if Dan Rafael came up with 300-350K on the Tank-Martin fight, we can safely assume Haney-Garcia did more than 1 million easily. Which is still conservative if we are to believe Rafael's numbers. But I don't believe those numbers. Even 20K-60K is hard to achieve in this day and age let alone 300K? It's clearly made up. (Rafael is a constant fixture in PBC press conferences. That deep smartass-sounding voice of his is easily recognizable.)
Trust me if you have been a fan of boxing even just for a decade, you know exactly the comparative sizes of every fight you have seen. There's no way Tank-Martin is any bigger than the Turki fight in California, for example. No way the Haney-Garcia was just a tad bigger. You either believe FatD's number and accept the Garcia-Haney did 3x or more or stop believing them altogether.
Anyone, which includes you and me, can come up with any number. Try it on the next PPV show and pretend it's coming from a reliable source. Just post a number in this forum, any number on the just concluded PPV and people have no way of confirming it.
Excellent assessment bro. Therefore, Turki's US debut card being bigger and nowhere near the size of Martin vs Tank fight, Fat Dan should at least come up with something like 500K.
