The funniest part is how everyone accepts the bs Ginger is pulling. They announced this fight like a week or 2 ago. Ginger loves giving his opps barely any camp time.

he keeps mentioning 25 pounds, noone knows what canelo is now, hes probably 180 to 185 in the ring or who knows even more its a shame we dont know, i doubt benny puts on 25 pounds but canelo when he was 154 guy was listed on hbo fight night weight at early 170's towards the end of his time there so if that was his weight way back then hes a lot bigger now clearly so its all smoke and mirrors as usual because we dont have the hard facts like we used to with hbo, sad

I am not a fan of Canelo...however, the guy has been fighting for 20 years. He fought Floyd, GGG three times, Bivol @ 175, Cotto etc. He has a lot of miles on him, so I am not going to complain when he takes some easy fights against younger guys. He is giving them a good payday. Sucks that he is only now really learning English because he could have been a bigger draw if he learned it sooner so he can trash talk.

As much as I am disappointed Canelo is not fighting Benavidez next it’s impossible to not respect his legacy and record to date he is simply an all time great. Nearly 70 fights at 34 and he’s done it all his resume speaks for itself he owes nobody anything as fight fans we are selfish and always crave the impossible from fighters.

hes artificially extending his career with hand picked opponents. doesnt matter what hes done before, hes a joke now. he could have been ali or leonard in his prime(he wasnt he was still ducking and cheating) but now we know hes a complete and utter joke and he should be treated like the joke he is. hopefully hes driven out of boxing because boxing is a zero sum game and when a guy like canelo takes up all the oxygen in the room, it hurts every other legit boxer who could be having real fights

That situation at the press conference seemed legit. I do believe Canelo is gonna make this kid pay. Berlanga is going to earn his money.
