I’m not going to say Joel doesn’t know anything about boxing, because he obviously does, so instead, he is just beyond biased. Madrimov only legit won one round. It’s a stretch to give Madrimov 4 rounds. 2 rounds is correct. 3 rounds if you just want to be really nice. Those punch stats were a disgrace, wrong and a sham and proof that they tried to fix it from the beginning. Bud landed probably 4x as many punches as Madrimov did

With that said, Crawford didn't look good, Canelo would probably win 10-2. Even Turkiman realizes this, hence why he said he's no longer trying to make that fight.
Canelo already explained why "Turkiman" isn't interested in trying to make the Crawford fight & it has nothing to do with Crawford's performance Saturday night

Also, it was Bud's corner that told him he needed to go out and try to ko him because they didn't know who was winning. And Bud went for it in the last round. Again, watch it without sound!
        115-113 win for Madrimov?
        Watch it without sound?
You need to watch it with better glasses
        What flashier did Madrimov land?

Madrimov getting credit for landing the right intermittently while having the cardio to keep up constant feints the entire fight- but I felt Bud's jab, body work, and the handful of flashy uppercuts were more impactful and I never had the sense Bud gave anything away or was feeling especially uncomfortable.

Madrimov should get in with any of these other big names around 154 (no shortage) and show us the measure of his game and win his way to a rematch.

He definitely wasn't robbed. People underestimated Madrimov and also expected Bud to be a destroyer instead of a boxer.

Joel acting like his best fighter so far Timmeh didn't have a helping hand from the judges lol

Joel's Timmeh won 4 rounds and was gifted a decision against manny

T-Bud won 6 to 7 rounds while Israil won 5 to 6 rounds. More people would score it for T than not

In other words the right man got the decision

The scores were right on for a change. Madrimov won some middle rounds but did nothing but feint and single shots in the early rounds while Crawford pieced him up with combos on the inside. Crawford finished strong unanimously on all score cards, fans included. You don’t get points for feinting. It was as if the DAZN crew and compubox weren’t watching the same fight. 116-112 is a fair score.

Fight was competitive bud Bud won 7-5, maybe 8-4. He won the 11th and 12th for sure. Madrimov fainted and hopped around more than throwing punches. For ever 1, Crawford would land at least 2 it seemed. Madrimov looked bigger and stronger, he should tried to bully crawf instead of play chess

Honestly this is true. But you can't say it because we all know how boxing scoring goes with people who think that because a guy is trying and feinting and trying to look aggressive, he should win the round. It is scored on EFFECTIVE aggression, who is landing the cleaner shots, who is getting hurt, ring generalship.

Madrimov had a plan to never let Bud settle down and keep him on the defense, to never let Bud figure out his rhythm, and to also himself not get stopped. It worked in some ways, but it really came off as pretty obvious and he was not effectively aggressive, Bud landed alot more clean shots and Bud hurt him.

There has to be some precedent for scoring when a guy is fighting in such a manner. If Madrimov had landed huge shots and hurt Bud, even in a few rounds, the score looks different. But he was really just surviving and acting, he wasn't seriously trying to engage Bud because he didn't want to get stopped. Smart. But I agree really, I didn't think Madrimov win many rounds. But hats off to him for not getting stopped.

I am hoping this fight leads to Bud fighting Canelo, the opposite of most. This fight has got everyone questioning Bud. And Bud is best when he has something to prove. He is going to batter whomever he fights next.

The offer was taken off the table because Canelo wanted 150 million for Crawford and 200 mil for Benavidez
