Feinting and hitting the opponents gloves doesn't win rounds. Crawford landed the much better shots and hurt Madrimov. This is sour g****s from his camp.

I will say Madrimov watched a lot of film and I give him credit. He knew not to let Bud get comfortable at all. Madrimov is a very good fighter, very smart.

"From the beginning, all of the attention was on Terence Crawford."
So much so that your boy was given a 5-minute entrance fit for a king?

I had it a draw, but Crawford did the more eye catching work in the last two rounds

I had Bud winning by 115-113, but it could have gone 115-113 the other way. People need to watch this fight without sound. The bigger and flashier punches were landed by Madrimov. Also, it was Bud's corner that told him he needed to go out and try to ko him because they didn't know who was winning. And Bud went for it in the last round. Again, watch it without sound!

It makes no sense to me that someone could score that fight and not even score one 10-10 round. That is the problem.

Joel Diaz should’ve known a close decision was going to Crawford. He should have told Madrimov they needed a knockdown at least . In a neutral setting Madrimov would have had at worst a draw but everyone knew this was Bud’s coronation.A close fight, too close to call it a robbery but only one fighter was getting the A side love .

It seems the coach is making too many excuses for why Madrimov didn't do more to win the fight. The fight was close and competitive most because both fighters were playing chess and did not go on the attack for the first 9 rounds. When Crawford was urged by his corner to take the fight to Madrimov becaue they were worried about the outcome, he responded and won the fight. Madrimov never went all out on the attack. He was too gun shy and only threw single punches for almost the entire fight. That's what you get with the safety first approach. No use complaining.

All those feints and very little landing.
