I think at that time they had a 1 weight class difference. A lot of boxers did that. 3 weight class difference is something else. It’s stooopid.

For some context in case this is an honest mistake, he made *only* 12 million vs Mayweather in 2013. Khan represented a 25 million dollar payday just 3 years later, despite not performing in PPV buys to the level of Canelo v Cotto, and Khan was a big star who was getting million dollar guarantees plus PPV shares for 10 fights. That Khan purse is about 32 million in money today, and from much earlier in Canelo's career. He's now late career and looking for cash out purses and easy fights. And now we've seen even Turki realizes it was a ****** idea to have him fight Crawford. Context matters.

when canelo fought khan, canelo was still on the come up and trying to make a name for himself...... but as of right now, canelo is already an established fighter and is well known... so he doesnt need to be force to fight TC... same reason why canelo is ignoring benavidez... canelo calls the shot now. every top fighter has done this including floyd!!
