What I truly dont understand is....why are people still buying Canelo's PPVs, and how is he the "money man" at this point? He doesn't fight guys who will make him work or challenge him. He doesn't KO the guys he fights. He is winning on points and the fights aren't fun to watch.

I mean are his fans loyal to him like a friend, like he cares about them or something? Is it nostalgia? Do they just like to keep giving him their hard earned money because they think he is cute or something?

At this point it make no sense.

NOBODY knows who Berlanga is outside the boxing circles. He hasn't done anything yet. Has he been on PPV undercard yet? I still can't believe this dude talked his way into a mega paycheck without accomplishing anything in the sport. Incredible.

Also, I think shameful for Canelo of all the opponents he could of went with, he picks a mostly unknown, green dude whose chin is going to be for the taking. Canelo blasting Edgar out and getting a +1 win in the PR vs Mexico rivalry. As they say, EZ Money.

Crawford, less than impressive against Madrimov. He lloked to ba a 36 year old, soon to be 37, aging fighter. Stepping-up in weight class not a factor in his favor. So. Spare the talk about Canelo and Crawford. Crawford isn't even remotely capable of beating Cabelo. An easy payday for Canelo. As for DB, he will look very pedestrian in his defeat by Bivol or Beterbiev. As for Morrell, who cares - which is rhetorical.. Maybe, after either LH champ beats DB's brains into mush, Canelo will step-in to end DB's career.
