@DClefthook's mention of The Lord was not disrespectful in the slightest, rather the opposite.

His problem is with fighters bowing down to Turki AS IF he is God, which of course he IS NOT.

We been hearing " thanks to Al Haymon for making this fight possible " how many years now ?
i guess thats ok as he is american and christian. Americans are some of the most narrow minded people that do exist, see for example T-r ump supporters and B-L M people.

Thanking Al Haymon for putting a fight together is much different than bowing down to him on hands and knees. C'mon mane try again....doe!

If you are not interested in boxers or fights not in America that is too bad for you.

I want to see the big fights and the top fighters fight each other, that is what he has done, great for fans of the sport.
We want to see 50/50 fights. He has delivered and it is great for boxing
I'm not against boxers who aren't American. LenOX Lewis, Prince Naseem and Joe Calzaghe are three of my favorite fighters of all time. But boxing is not a global sport. It is a sport that thrives in N. America and The UK. Only those two fanbases have kept boxing alive over the last 100 years. Just because a guy from Saudi has money does not mean we should fall for the okie-doke and just let him completely take over the sport. He has no history of being able to run anything successfully let alone boxing which isn't all that popular anymore and needs its two most loyal fanbases to re engage.

That induction was extremely cringe worthy and embarrassing to watch. I honestly think Turki Alalshikh is going to make some great fights happen, but we all know it's because he's willing to pump the dollars out.

I think he's good for boxing, but to add him to the NBHOF when has hasn't even done an event in Nevada is comical. This shows how much the money rules the 'sport' and how desperate and corrupt all of these sanctioning bodies/organizations are.

              Fvkking Pigs.
Cringe is right. The whole thing just smelled desperate and was thinly concealed groveling.

Say what you want, but I'm tired of America sucking.

Rock and Roll from its inception was a form of rebellion against the 'Establishment' and all its trappings. Not just musical but societal.

I have to resist the urge to post more at the risk of beating the topic to death.
You know, the way the Saudi 'Morality Police' will beat to death those who publicly go against the will of Allah.
So let Turki have his sportswashing participation trophies. At least hands and heads aren't getting chopped off during the fights and the groveling spectacles leading up to them.
What DOES torque me off is having to hear Michael Buffer (our venerable and beloved Michael Buffer) pay tribute - by name - to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his son and heir apparent Prince Mohammed bin Salman, garnished with "Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques". Enough of this knee-pad worthy groveling already.

To see what has become of rock nowadays, all one has to do is looking at clowns like U2's Bono - a Facebook shareholder among many other things.

Bono likes to speak out on issues like climate change. His band's carbon footprint is obscene. Dozens of semi trucks hauling ridiculous staging equipment, private jets... it's not the carbon emissions that irritate me, it's the hypocrisy.
