I overall agree with what he's saying.

I've sat down and watched UFC/MMA and i honestly could never get into it.

I went down to my friends house because they were having a party to watch ufc (ie. like 10 ppl ****faced drunk) so i decided to see what the hype was about by really just watching and entire broadcast to see whats the hype.

My conclusion:
hate it
hate it
hate it

the ring announcer was cheezy to start the whole thing off...the announcers were irritating to say the least...

and once the whole thing got underway i spent 3 of the first 5 rounds wondering when exactly the action was going to begin. It was cool for the first part of the first round when they were on their toes and actually doing **** but once they got on the ground they just hugged and hugged and tried to move...couldnt...so they hugged...and hugged...etc.

That made it VERY boring.

laying idly on the floor isnt entertainment to me...it hardly is a sport either.

I agree with B Hop. Occasionally i do watch UFC in hopes of a good fight but the good ones are quick knockouts and the rest get boring as soon as the guys start grappling and playing tickle foot . Im like Hopkins , from the hood and if i saw a guy trying to grapple or arm bar in a fight we would honestly have to question his manhood and seriously have to ask if he even knows how to fight .

This has got to be the second dumbest thing I've read this week..right after hopkins....and with you both saying your from the "hood" your making everybody look like ****ing idiots from the hood.

You inability to understand a fight is...its.....its ridiculous. Whats next? Footballs gay because they tackle each other and lay in dog piles? You think grappling is gay because he's touching the other guy trying to gain a better position so he can punch him with maximum damage without receiving maxim damage is gay? You think arm breaking is gay?

Touching a guy laying down fighting is the same thing as two boxers hugging in a clinch..take a picture of two boxers clinching..then turn the picture sideways...what do you have...two guys hugging laying down...well I guess that what a ***ot sees...I see to guys fighting.

The ground work is boring to you...because you don't understand it. You think its all chaotic and neither guy really knows what hes doing and every movement is a guess or luck...kind of like how you would react on the ground. And for a lot of the guys without skill on the ground...your right. But the other guys....every single movement is planned. Everywhere he puts his head, his feet..where he puts his body weight. The way he turns his body is all planned. And when you know and recognize what hes doing and see what the other guy is doing to defend..THATS when it becomes exciting as any other sport.

There are mini battles happening for each position before the submissions and the knock out..thats what you just don't realize and its why you miss out on a great sport because for some reason..your brains wired to think of sex when you see to guys touching during a fight. Most men see two guys fighting and know, no matter how they are when they are fighting...they are just fighting..sex is the last thing in their mind..but for a few guys, like you, bernard hopkins and elton john...you see two guys fighting and think of sex. You guys are suspect in my book.
