It will be tough for Madrimov to win a belt again and keep it. Too many talented players at 154 right now. He gave Bud a tough fight but he was not playing offence. He was waiting for a counter punch all night (like Crawford). I can see him struggling against Ortiz, Tszyu and even Bohachuk.

Let's stop the narrative that Crawford has any shot of beating Canelo. It would be a blood bath.

Thats true but Bud also struggled against Madrimov and I think all the other 154 guys would also struggle and some might even lose, he is not an easy guy to beat.

I got a feeling TC will get of the fighting Canelo idea other than as he said the money, but after that performance with a guy nowhere as strong will give him second thoughts about beating Canelo.

Crawford lacked Power at 154 even with CONTE's help. He was also wary of Madrimov power.

It could happen at 160 but then there wouldn't be a belt at stake. I'm sure Canelo would make 160 for a huge payday v Crawford & I'm sure Crawford would go as high as 160 for a huge payday v Canelo, but I doubt either of them wants to go there to pick a belt up first.

Can he Alvarez has been at 168 for years now

Mbilli would be just as good a fight for Alvarez

Bud is one of my favourite fighters has been for years now but I do think he has hit his ceiling and anything further than 154 is gonna be a huge detriment to him physically.. 4 weight world champion and still a chance of becoming undisputed in a 3rd weight class is still a legendary career so I think him and his team should reconsider fighting someone like canelo and it's a shame there's no big names that's gonna generate the same kinda money for that fight at 147-154.. boots would do decent numbers but it just won't be the money Turki will probably put up for the Canelo fight so it might be to tempting to leave on the table
