Since when do close but clear decisions receive soo many negative articles. You gotta take the belt from the champ lol that's not a thing either. Simply put, Madrimov is a beast. I never heard of him before this fight but he is the real deal and I'm now a fan. Also, Madrimov and canelo are two different beasts. This version of canelo is a plodder who relies on single power shots. Yeah I'd favor canelo against Crawford but it's a flight I'd love to see.

Madrimov was a good tough opponent, but somehow I am not sure that we are going to hear too much about him going forward, just like we did not hear about him before this fight. I think the history will judge him as a guy that gave Crawford a tough fight but I cannot see him scaling any great heights in the future.

The greats find a way to win no matter who is in front of them. Mike Tyson led The casual observer to believe that boxing is something where the best ever could win every round always or knock someone out. The only one who had come close to that was Mayweather because his winning percentage was insane. That said, Bud went up in weight and fought a matrix dude and won. Good job to him!

Madrimov had his day. He looked good for a minute. I bet he never gets to 20-1. That was an old lightweight that beat him.

Maybe yes maybe no but I'll be watching. C'mon if you're a fan tell me you don't want to see him against Tsyu, Fortuna, Boots etc...

Sure I'll watch, but a loss to the first name he faced, and he had all the advantages. Age, size, power, supposedly. Bigger, younger fighters won't be so easy.
