Stevenson's defense team has to come up with something better than "appreciate being unentertained".

I agree to a certain degree about Stevenson getting a bum wrap. However, he has admitted himself that he doesn't care what the fans think about his style of boxing and imo, that has hurt his brand. Shakur needs an elite fighter in front of him to show his greatness. The Mayweather style is not in style ATM. People want to get excited and Shakur just doesn't do that for most people. Best of luck to him moving forward. I hope he gets the tank fight. Be a good contrast of styles.

He is without question the least entertaining fighter in the sport. A fact of which he seems to be defiantly proud. That’s why.

there was a time when all or most all fights were easily accessable to fight fans so there was room for fighters that might not have been as interesting to watch as those that took chances inside the ropes with that era gone now there naturally is going to be more interest in fights that bring action along the lines of HIT and Dont get hit mentallity of the fight game.........

I think his last fight is an example of why the fans aren't necessarily being unfair. He hurt that guy several times to the body, but wouldn't go for the kill. You can say that's good boxing for not overextending and getting careless, but at the same time he had the guy completely outmatched and ready to be taken out. Stevenson's corner was screaming at him to be more active and he kept making excuses and talking back. As far as Mayweather, that guy was an offensive virtuoso at 135, and didn't start to have "The Mayweather Style" until he was 10 years into his career and 5 weight classes up.

How about this rap: Shakur should have been locked up in jail !!! Hitting and swinging fists at defense less people on the ground from behind and taking swinging punshes at women. HOW ABOUT THAT RAP ?

Stevenson pretty much doesn't give a flying t****ze about having non-friendly fan style. You saw him last night with a wide grin on his small face. He seem to be having the time of his life. He sat beside Hearn and got greeted by Turki. Meaning, you can say any negative thing about him and he won't gaf.

Tank might be the guy to dampen that ****yness of Shakvenson. Unfortunately, Davis seems not interested.
