I am very familiar with him and expected him to give Bud trouble but him nearly winning a decision having very close rds through the entire fight did impress me. He showed he belongs at the top of the division.
would have won with a better jab upstairs

In rematch I’m expecting additional jabs from Israil while T-Bud focuses on the body going for the stoppage

Israil has a higher boxing iq than I thought

I think he can make the straight forward adjustment of jabbing more

        maybe some switch hitting too

Israil was southpaw for a brief moment and caught T with some sht

There was a lack of a jab yes, he knew Bud was a sharp counter puncher and fast so I guess he wanted his hands in position at all times possible to defend is how I account for it. Very measured fight by both guys.

              need rematch

both are capable of kicking each other a$$

If Israil wins they can even trilogy

Israil has made himself the next highest profile fighter at 154

every other super welter is a nobody to the general public

I'd like to see it, plenty of close rds and it could have went to Madirmov. It depends on what options Bud has now after this, will Canelo fight him? If so Bud will take the payday regardless of what he thinks of his chances and who wouldn't at his position at this stage in the game for him.

I wouldn't say his speed as in handspeed or reactions impressed me as much as his athleticism does.

He has great balance and footwork, fast feet and highly explosive. I think Crawfords counterpunching ability neutralised it a little bit but he is freakishly explosive but I guess this comes from his gymnastics background.

he was outboxing not just outsizing crawford for long portions of the fight. its even more impressive that a guy with a reach disadvantage like that is outboxing crawford.

he should have taken more risks. actually seeing some clips of him before the fight my concern would be he would leave himself open but that is what totally surprised me, it mostly just looks like he is open and he was a lot more cautious with crawford than previous opponents. i didnt really see that happening. I did already notice he was pretty quick and athletic
