Inoue is at 122 with no opponent on paper available That's better than mj. Nobody at 122 has a belt. So that's a dumb ass excuse. Anybody inoue picks won't have a belt, so why not the best available guy at 122 which is mj, the only former champ at 122 that inoue hasn't fought.

Styles make fights. Not oh he beat him and i beat him so im the best. Triangle theories dont work.
You’re trying to compare Inoue to a guy who fights once a year?

If we’re gonna compare which guy fights the best guys in his division, Inoue embarrasses Bud. Nice try fanboy.

From 2015-2017, the whole 115 lb division was heating up with Gonzalez as p4p and the other 3 reaching their primes. Inoue's no duck, but how his career was managed, his team knew he wasn't ready for that smoke. Those guys fought, won, and lost to each other because they're all that good. Inoue was popular enough back then to hold his own at the negotiating table, maybe, bring some of those guys to Japan. But he wasn't quite there yet and by leaving the division prematurely, he missed the legacy fights to add some real name recognition to his resume. There were no p4ps at 118, much less any real threats outside of who, an old Donaire?

I bring it up because you said he outnumbers Bud in titles won & champs beaten, but there's no comparison when it comes to the quality of opposition, especially when Inoue could have erased any doubt by sticking around 115 where as Bud steamrolled through every champ willing to fight him in every weight class he's been in

I still can't believe you're trying to push the notion that Inoue has lost less rounds in his whole career than Bud did last night lol, but hey man, it's all good
Dude you are still not getting it. Inoue wanted to become undisputed at 115 and become mainstream in japan. Inoue had big name among fight fans in japan but his main goal was to become mainstream. That's why his team send offer to every champion at 115 and all turned them down.

Eddie Hearn said it perfectly when he stopped Inoue from fighting WBA champion Kal Yafai, by saying it would be Yafai's highest payday but the pay didn't mitigate the risk.

Inoue send 2 offers to chocolatito, both turned down. But the third offer send by HBO was verbally accepted by chocolatito. If chocolatito beats Rungvisai in the rematch then HBO had Inoue vs chocolatito ready. But Chocolatito got knocked out and didn't wanna fight anymore.

And Inoue wanted to fight Estrada. Who was his WBO mandatory, but Estrada went the WBC route. After Rungvisai had beaten chocolatito twice, Inoue wanted to fight him, but WBC called mandatory and made Rungvisai fight Estrada. See I told you the loophole of 4 guys fighting for only WBC belt and keeping Inoue out.

And Inoue also sent offer to IBF champion Ancajas but he and Bob arum rejected it. And it's funny how both Eddie and Bob tried sign Inoue at 118 after having stopped him from being undisputed at 115.

Not just that Inoue also wanted to fight Kazuto Ioka, Inoue sent a challenge to Ioka for a Japanese showdown. But Ioka said the fight is unrealistic and waited for Inoue to move up. Then Ioka fought for Inoue's WBO belt in vacate title fight.

And moving to 118 wasn't for names but to build his own name using the WBSS platform, like usky did the previous year. And what a good decision it was from Inoue.

Because for 1st time in a long time, boxing was shown on Japanese television and non boxing fans were seeing this young Japanese guy knocking everyone out and winning the tournament. It turned Inoue into a big name in Japan and after becoming undisputed he finally become mainstream in Japan.

Lol thats what im trying to say to these dudes insisting TC could hang in there with the ginger , yesterday we saw the evident loss in speed and power going up in weight and that 154, madrimov ate everything bud threw at him no problem plus he landed his own clean shots as well. Canelo way faster, stronger and as much as accurate with his punch selection, only matter of time til Bud goes full survival mode just like Mell did and hes bigger full blown sww. No way Bud beats Canelo.

        • Crawford won 116-112 on my card. Madrimov fought good but was not busy enough in the early rounds and I had Crawford winning rounds 11 and 12 clearly.

Dude how are you not getting it, MJ never wanted to fight Inoue, since he didn't accept terms for Tokyo fight. It was Eddie Hearn running with the narrative that Inoue is ducking him. The reality is that Inoue was supposed to fight Goodman but Goodman ducked and TJ was Goodman's replacement.

AJ's mandatory was activated to try and get Inoue as an undercard. That is a scumbag move that the PBC usually pulls for some step-aside money. Mj and Eddie never wanted a fight in tokyo, they just wanted step-aside money since the Tokyo date has been booked by Inoue.

That's why Inoue said he felt harassed by Eddie and MJ. But to bad for them Inoue is WBA super champion, and super champion only defend their title after 18 months. So in the end Eddie and MJ didn't even get the step-aside that they wanted lol.

Since Eddie pulled this stunt, he might have burned his bridges with Inoue. Now I'm not sure how Eddie's gonna negotiate with Inoue for a fight.

canelo has better defense, better timing, stronger etc... if TC was gun shy against madrimov, TC would be even more hesitant to throw against canelo.

and madrimov offense is???? canelo has better counter, better timing, stronger.

after seeing how TC did against madrimov, canelo stops TC at 168.

i was one of the few who thought TC has a good shot at beating canelo... but after seeing TC's performance against madrimov, i have a change of mind... at 168, canelo stops TC.

154 is perfect for TC... he just needs to get a few more fights in at 154 then he will start dominating the division.
