I used to like Shawn Porter, but he's become the Tony Bellew of American boxing. He's turned into a clown show. Can't take him seriously. It's been pretty bad as of late. Bottom line is that the wrong guy won the fight because of his star power. He did not beat Madrimov. Only by doing mental gymnastics can you give Craford a win, and it would be by one round. And that's only if you gave every close round to Crawford regardless.

The other guys seemed to be seeing the same fight I was seeing. You could tell there was this big "WTF" moment when the other three hear Shawn Porter give his take on who's winning. Guy is a buffoon.

The funny moment was when he said Crawford had taken over the fight and the commentator said "you say that but Madrimov has pretty clearly won the last two rounds, Shawn".

            Then silence from Porter (finally).

Porter was like a crazy fan boy that was given a mic

As someone up there said, it was like when Bellew commentates on Hearn cards

                Absolutely

Madrimov was never ever getting a decision. When the guy running the event, who happens to be pumping insane money into it is already planning and sending offers for fights for one of the fighters in the ring, then there's zero chance the other fighter is winning a decision.

Many people just don't want to admit Madrimov won because they predicted Bud would smoke him simply because they barely knew Madrimov and thought he was some stiff straight line Euro fighter. He boxed Crawford's head off for large parts of the fight, way better accuracy and better defence, hence Crawford's super low accuracy on the stats.

Crawford had a few moments with a couple of flurries and a few other shots. Apart from that, Madrimov was dictating the range, the pace and was tagging Crawford with right hands and left hooks all night

it was competitive but finding 7 or 8 rounds for Crawford is laughable.

I still think the broadcast should avoid conflict of interest regarding the announcers. Porter being a former opponent of Crawford is OK, but even leading up to their fight, they constantly mentioned being good friends.

I thought the same thing when ESPN would allow Ward to commentate on Shakur Stevenson's fight even though he was also Stevenson's manager.
