Crawford landed the better shots all night, and more of them. Madrimov was awkward and had a good gameplan but he didn't throw enough, higher percentage of low volume does not win a fight, and Madrimov was not landing anything to hurt Bud. Bud landed harder and more effective shots, ie he outboxed Madrimov. Not sure what fight you were watching or if you are just a Madrimov fan. Honestly hats off to Madrimov. He had a good plan and Bud never got into a rhythym, and that is where Bud hurts guys. Madrimov knew it and his awkwardness allowed him to go 12.
Canelo fights nothing like Madrimov. He would have the power advantage, but Bud is a better boxer and he would adjust to Canelo over a few rounds and hit him alot. Canelo isn't running him over, thiz fight with Madrimov was unusual in how Madrimov approached it. Canelo obviously could land something big and stop Bud, but Bud isn't fighting Canelo like he fought tonight. He has height and reach on Saul, and he would also put on muscle fighting at 168 and Bud is strong AF.
I knew after tonight's fight that people would be saying exactly what they are saying. And it is boxing, anything can happen. But Crawford outboxes Canelo IMO and wins a UD. Watch.
Bud's too small for 168. Heck, he's small for 154. Canelo WILL land power shots, and when that happens..

I did not see it as a close fight. Crawford won by a landslide in my opinion. Madrimov was allowed to move forward but nothing else. He was not effective, so Crawford never kicked into high gear. He was no slouch and made it difficult to steamroll. He had great muscle memory but that back fired against him since he didn’t do anything new from start to finish. While Crawford didn’t look spectacular, he fought a brilliant defensive fight. I know that never wins fans but he made few mistakes and outboxed a boxer.

Yeah, but are you ready to bet your #$%$# account on it man????!!!!!
Kidding.
You may be right. But I disagree. I think Canelo is the perfect guy to get upset by Bud.
Hopefully we see it.
Maybe you’re basing it off on floyd’s victory over nelo… which was at 152lbs, that version gets beat by crawford too.. the 168lber is way too big, and their speed difference wouldn’t even be too much.. nelo’s power is way greater than Madrimov’s.. his chin is way better.. and his upper body movement is also better.
he doesn’t even need to do all the things madrimov was doing just straight walk him up.
to be honest there is also a small percentage of me thinking maybe he can, but now it’s goes to zero.
unless nelo is shot to pieces..
munguia or past prime GGG would KO madrimov.
munguia would walk crawford. He’s big young kid who ****** with nelo.
