Crawford landed the better shots all night, and more of them. Madrimov was awkward and had a good gameplan but he didn't throw enough, higher percentage of low volume does not win a fight, and Madrimov was not landing anything to hurt Bud. Bud landed harder and more effective shots, ie he outboxed Madrimov. Not sure what fight you were watching or if you are just a Madrimov fan. Honestly hats off to Madrimov. He had a good plan and Bud never got into a rhythym, and that is where Bud hurts guys. Madrimov knew it and his awkwardness allowed him to go 12.

Canelo fights nothing like Madrimov. He would have the power advantage, but Bud is a better boxer and he would adjust to Canelo over a few rounds and hit him alot. Canelo isn't running him over, thiz fight with Madrimov was unusual in how Madrimov approached it. Canelo obviously could land something big and stop Bud, but Bud isn't fighting Canelo like he fought tonight. He has height and reach on Saul, and he would also put on muscle fighting at 168 and Bud is strong AF.

I knew after tonight's fight that people would be saying exactly what they are saying. And it is boxing, anything can happen. But Crawford outboxes Canelo IMO and wins a UD. Watch.

Lol he drew with breidis but got the win by majority decision. And against fury he won by split decision, another close fight. And in the second AJ fight, it was a draw but he got the win by split decision. And he that low blow diabolical against Dubois.

Damn you still going with this. Bud ate plenty of right hands tonight and i was rooting for him bad. Look at the punch stats before you say he outlanded him.. bud landed 22% of his shots the first 10 rounds it means he punched a lot of air while madrimov was landing 38% of his shots.

bud fought a tough good win, but to say he outboxed madrimov nahhhh. They were both in it in every round, it was competitive.

so if crawford’s punches couldn’t dent a 154lber after he threw the kitchen sink and landed 3 straight uppercuts you expect nelo or the elites of 160 or 168 to get hurt by them? If he was getting backed off by madrimov’s right hands (he really ate a lot) imagine nelo landing his right on crawford.. it will be night night.
And oh nelo will land and i don’t even like him. Bud is hittable he’s not a defensive genius it’s his combination of technicality and power that makes him really tough, but oh well, the latter didn’t matter tonight and for sure it won’t matter 2 weight classes up.
