    Did Bob Arum send home Figueroa because he wants Pacquiao to win?

    Just read the fighthype article where Frankie Figueroa was still in shock at why he got sent home;

    boxing, FightHype, MMA, UFC, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, fight, hype, fighters, interviews, boxing news, mma news, boxers, best boxing website, best mma website

    From the sound of it, I cant fathom why el Gato would be sent home. Unless if he was just flat out lying, i dont see why they would send him home.....

    Everything was fine according to Figueroa, then Bob Arum pays a visit & now he's gone?

    Does Bob Arum have a ulterior motive? Did he send Figueroa home because he was being too helpful to cotto? Is Arum secretly favoring a Pacquiao win & deliberately messing with cotto's chances?

    Pretty odd that there has been no excuse given as to why he was let go.

    Arum has no say on who Cotto's camp picks as a sparring partner. Who knows what the reasoning was. He may have been goofing around, maybe got too serious when sparring etc.

      I'd be Gobsmacked if Arum gets a say in who stays and who go's out of Cotto's sparring partners !!!!!!!

      Could you imagine Frank Warren turning up @ the Wild Card telling Freddie who to send home !!!!!

            An obvious bait thread?

              if figueroa didn't beat up cotto in sparring then this story is worthless.

                I don't think Arum has any say on who spars with Cotto and who gets sent home.

                    Im not mad Brah. Buts its kind of insulting when when someone MAY assume something like that, no? I got nothing against you, but if you don't know enough boxing history to post in certain threads maybe you should just steer clear of them instead of making ASSumptions. Peace.

                    PS-I'd go with Calzaghe. Smith fought better comp but lost most of his key bouts.
