I always rated Hunter highly, the skills are obviously visible but the motivation and mental discipline isn't always there. I thought he looked good against Bakole and Kuzmin but then you have the performances against White Delight Wilson and Jerry Forrest.

When Big Baby failed his drug test before the AJ fight, Miller offered to take the fight as a last minute replacement. Ruiz got the nod instead, I do wonder how Hunter would have done against AJ of he had been the opponent.

ESPN does that quite a bit. Half of Top Rank's fighters are headed to Canastota if you are to believe what ESPN claims. I think Bob threw Anderson to the wolves in this fight, Bakole's team was surprised the fight was offered to him. I think Arum was getting tired of Anderson's antics and wanted to toss him in very deep waters to see if he'd sink or swim.

Ol' Bob got his answers, I wouldn't be surprised if he cuts Big Baby loose. It wouldn't be the first time he's soured on a fighter (just ask Elvis Rodriguez).

Bob Arum did the same with Alfredo Angulo. Got tired of his antics and Angulo wanted Canelo money.

Threw him to the wolves (immigration)

Let's face it, Bakole is good. He destroyed this hyped up mediocre boxer without breaking a sweat. Anderson bought into his own hype just like Dubois and suffered the same fate. Annihilation at the hands of another contender.

            Anderson is done.

Bakole is ready to fight for the belts.
yeh its true bakole was injured against hunter, ,a fit bakole beats hunter easy

Anderson is going to be impressing a lot more people with his heart, because he's going to lose quite a few more fights along the way.
Ever since the Martin fight I was skeptical about Anderson becoming heavyweight champion, then he had that horrible fight with Merhy, now this.
No I don't believe that there is a heavyweight championship title in his future, because he gets hit too flush, too often, and doesn't recover from it well.

I said it, Anderson is not what they were hyping him up to be.

He knocked out some tomato cans, did have a decent win in his previous fight, and got hurt by Martin. Bakole just wore him down and dominated.

What's that supposed to mean? Anderson is supposed to take on all comer's, just like everyone else, if he wants to become heavyweight champion.
There is nothing to suspect here, unless you are calling Bakole a suspect for assaulting Anderson, but that's every fighters job to mug his opponent.
Bakole deserves a chance to fight any available contender in his quest to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world.
I became a fan ever since he traveled to France for an opportunity to fight the undefeated Tony Yoka, and he did defeat Yoka, by majority decision.
