Never fought anyone at 168, but I'm going to 175 to fight the best! Benavides took an actual challenge when he moved up, Canelo took an actual challenge when he moved up, this guy is fighting a guy named Hot Rod! That's all you have to know from this clown. He's just another guy claiming he'll fight anyone but his actions say different, and his groupies eat it up....

Hot Rod is a very good step up to the division
I’d compare him to Gvodzyk right now , not prime G

Morrell has 10 fights, and Hot Rod is a step-up for him. Morrell's primary issue is activity. Two things that are affecting his activity: being high-risk/low-reward, and being tethered to PBC. Hopefully he performs well tonight and makes an impression on Turki.
Shameful that neither benavidez nor Morrell who were clearly the top two fighters at 168 got a shot at “undisputed”. I guess a 40 yr old mw ggg, a C level Ryder, an inactive junior mw, a C level munguia and a D level berlanga were more deserving. Hopefully the willingness to make real fights is better at 175.
If David Benavidez and Canelo wont fight him at 168, Maybe Bivol and Beterbiev wont fight him at 175, not saying they will avoid him, but he could have the same problem at 175.
High Risk Low reward fighters are avoided in EVERY Weight Class
I like both fighters a great deal, but I'm rooting for Morrell to make a statement and take back his career from inactivity. But good luck to Kaladjzic, too. He's a real test.

Morel sucks, and he proved it tonight. People like you hype these dudes up with no merit....

It’s actually people like you who love to completely diminish a fighter just because they fail to score a ko in 1 fight or don’t look amazing in each outing. People who actually know boxing, see skill and talent. Clearly that’s above your level of comprehension because your knowledge of boxing is limited to being a casual groupie. Se with fans like you, you would’ve said Floyd ****** following his performance vs Carlos Hernandez, Oscar would’ve ****** following his performance with Molina , Lewis would’ve ****** following McCall, fury would’ve ****** following his performance vs Cunningham, pad would’ve ****** after rustico. Step your knowledge up.
