lol what a mess. these morons signed to pbc and the pbc big bragging point was how many fighters they had and that they paid them bigger price when they fight. now very few of them get any fights at all lol. they got fooked hard

Amazon isn't bank rolling the PBC, they simply provide a platform and the PBC doesn't have money. The PBC burned through the pension fund and the free networks that can no longer absorb the loss. They have very few in-house fighters that can support a PPV and they don't have Showtime footing the bill for the up and coming fighters & one sided in-house fights they had in the past. Most of the PBC's stable were stolen from other promoters and many are self promoted which means the fighter foots the bill and young fighters don't have that kind of money. Al Hayman will either find a slush fund or purchase a network similar to ProBox or go back to the networks he once tried to put out of business and hope the network and promoters will work with him.

Unless I'm missing something the PBC is on life support.

It's so funny how you dudes saw the whole Dazn disaster play out and you still spew these same BS talking points. In 2018 Dazn told you fools to sign up for 10 bucks a month and 100 pr year and PPV IS DEAD! Fast forward to 2023 an it's 30 bucks a month and 250 pr year and PPV has been resurrected and is doing just fine. They blew through 6 billion dollars of the Russian's money and now had to go beg a Saudi oil man to bail them out and help them hijack American boxing (Saudis high-******* something...nooooo). The Saudis have already seen how badly they failed and the Freaky sheaky guy has taken over Dazn completely. Canelo next fight just like his previous two have been PBC events because DAZN DOES NOT HAVE MONEY TO PAY HIM!!! Now this Turki guy is claiming to have a stable of good American fighters. He doesn't have a stable he only has 1 or 2 horses that he plucked from the stable. PBC and TR have the stable and the horses and are sitting back laughing at these nerds for thinking he's about to come 'take over'. Hmmmm would that be like the 'American takeover'? I'm too lazy to check but since the whole grand ol' PBC IZ WITH AMAZON PRIIIIME THEY R DA BESTEST!!! celebration came out, how many PBC cards actually came out because it doesn't seem like there were that many, not to mention they were all PPV.

There is the Canelo card in September, and there was the Tank/Benavidez card in June, and there was...I dunno, the Canelo card against Munguia? Is that it?

yeah, social media sure has ruined boxing discourse. When I was coming up, I couldn't have cared less who was promoting a card, as long as the fight was good. I still don't care, for that matter. I actually do still hope we will see more PBC fights on Amazon. I hope for their sake that Canelo vs Berlanga sells, but that's not a fight I'm interested in....nor is it's main support Lara vs Garcia. It's the least essential card of the year.

I believe there have only been 3 cards but those 3 cards have generated 500x the revenue generated by all the BS dazn has put out. But can you please tell me how you feel about dazn pulling a bait-and-switch on you by charging for PPV?
